Northwestern University Epilepsy is a rapidly evolving field. Specifically, in the last few years, advancement in artificial intelligence and genetics have impacted patient care. We will update the epilepsy practitioner on the clinical impact for their practice.
- Discuss the use of artificial intelligence in the interpretation of EEG.
- Identify patients with focal epilepsy who benefit from genetic testing.
- Describe pertinent components of multidisciplinary care models for the management of epilepsy and seizure disorders.
- Compare EEG and MEG based models for source imaging.
Join Northwestern and Chicago-area faculty as they welcome both locally and nationally renowned guest speakers to participate in two days of engaging and thoughtful discussion. The purpose of this activity is to update community and pediatric neurologists, as well as other healthcare providers working in epilepsy centers across the country, on challenging areas of epilepsy diagnosis and treatment. Hot topics include AI, genetics of focal epilepsy and multidisciplinary care models. All are invited to our Friday evening cocktail reception.
Northwestern Medicine is excited to offer ABPN Self-Assessment CME. Lectures will include self-assessment questions with live feedback. Sessions will be followed with live Q&A with our experts and the audience.
