Reflections in Rhinoplasty – Jack Sheen, MD In 2000, Dr. Sheen was invited to share his reflections on his personal challenges in rhinoplasty. Part 1 of this video records that insightful interview, detailing key issues that distinguish his unique and extensive experience with nasal surgery.
Part 2 follows with an abridged video of a secondary rhinoplasty performed at the Millard Symposium in 1975. During that surgery, Dr. Sheen, yet unproven as an expert, demonstrates for the first time, correction of supratip deformity by using dorsal grafts and tip grafts to augment and provide structure to a previously operated nose. At that time, further reduction was the accepted treatment for supratip rhinoplasty. At first, the audience was skeptical. And the rest, as they say, is history.
