Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Select guidelines and protocols for cancer imaging, with focus on breast, lung, endometrium, and cervix
- Recommend up-to-date imaging approaches to trauma and emergency conditions and masses of the brain, orbits and spine
- Recognize imaging pearls and pitfalls in joint injuries of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle, as well as utilize musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Identify fundamentals and criteria for imaging of the acute abdomen, including pregnant women
- Implement updated guidelines for imaging of abdominal trauma, infections, and inflammatory bowel disease
